Who doesn’t love a Mean Girls reference?! I unintentionally wore pink today, but how fitting, since today is Wednesday (this can be the point of my post that I share that in 6th grade my friends and I decided we were different characters from Mean Girls, and wore pink on Wednesdays).
I had no idea what I wanted to wear this morning. I had a few things on, that eventually led to this look. I initially started with an aqua dress, but felt it was too bright, for this almost fall (woot, woot, tomorrow!) weather. I then put on a pair of black and white patterned pants, with this black top that I am wearing. This simple, black, top is from Old Navy. It is actually has a shark bit hem on the bottom, but I tucked in my shirt, so the bottom cannot be seen. Similar tops can be found here, and here.
Instead of my patterned pants, I chose to wear a blush pink, knee length, a line, skirt from Amazon.com. This skirt is from Amazon.com. The skirt that I ordered from Amazon.com did run a bit small, so make sure to order a size up. It is important to read reviews and comments. That helps find the perfect size. It rained early in the morning (so I wore my trench coat out and about), over here in West Michigan, but I looked at the weather, and it did not seem like an overall rainy day, so I decided to wear a pair of black wedges, from Target, with my outfit. Similar wedges can be found here, and here.
I also wore my bracelet for my Fitbit Flex. The Fitbit is not seen at all, so if you are interested in looking at how many steps without your app, this is not the bracelet for you you. I purchased the bracelet from Amazon.com. For my clutch, I used a black wallet clutch from Target with my outfit.
I kept my accessories very simple. Sometimes, less is more. I wore necklace that I purchased on JustFab. The necklace is called”Girl Power,” which just makes it an already awesome necklace, and it is super cute! If you are interested in what JustFab is, check out this past blog post. I wore a pair of front-back earrings from Target. The pair that I am wearing came in a multi pack with 10 different ways to wear front-back earrings. Similar earrings can be found here, and here.
Lastly, my lipstick. I decided to wear my favorite lipstick right now, NYX’s Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in soft-spoken.
