To me, fall means sweaters, fleece leggings, button down shirts, flannels, cardigans, and of course jewel tones.
I love the deep, rich, colors. Jewel tones are colors that resemble gemstones, such as include emerald green, amethyst purple, ruby red, topaz yellow, sapphire blue, tourmaline green, and turquoise blue.
Today I paired two jewel tones (emerald green, and ruby red) in my shirt and cardigan. My ruby red (or maroon, burgundy, etc.) cardigan is from Old Navy. Similar cardigans can be found here, and here.
Underneath my cardigan, I chose a green tank from Target, to compliment my jewel tones. Similar tanks can be found here, and here.
My black pants are also from Target. They are basically leggings, but are very thick, have a zipper, so definitely work appropriate! Similar pants can be found here, and here.
Since my focus on this outfit was my jewel tones, I did not want to mix too many neutrals, so I chose to wear black booties to compliment my black pants. Similar black booties can be found here, and here.
