Sometimes less is more. I will often go in spurts of wanting to wear patterns, bright colors, deep colors, etc. Other days I like to keep my outfits simple, and neutral.
Today I chose a neutral, simple route. I decided to wear a neutral poncho from Old Navy. When I bought this light poncho, I knew that I would be able to get multiple outfits out of this. Today, I chose to wear a camisole underneath, since the weather was in the 70’s today. When it get’s colder, I will be able to wear a long sleeve shirt underneath, and I will be able to play up (or down) my accessories. Similar ponchos can be found here, and here.
With my neutral poncho, I chose to wear a pair Old Navy’s Mid-Rise Rockstar Skinny Jeans in “Leaf Me Alone.” Similar pants can be found here, and here.
My booties are from JustFab (more info about JustFab in this past blog post). These neutral, beige, booties completed this outfit, and can be worn with multiple outfits, which is always a benefit. Similar booties can be found here, and here. My earrings are also from JustFab. I bought them on sale, so they are currently out of stock, but similar earrings can be found here, and here.
I also wore my bracelet for my Fitbit Flex. The Fitbit is not seen at all, so if you are interested in looking at how many steps without your app, this is not the bracelet for you you. I purchased the bracelet from Amazon.com. I used an old, neutral, Coach clutch as my purse.
Lastly, my makeup. I decided to wear my favorite lipstick right now, NYX’s Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in soft-spoken. I kept my eye shadow simple with a light, neutral colored smokey eye. I used Revlon’s Colorstay Not Just Nudes Shadow Pallet in romantic nudes. I only used three of the colors (1-overall base, 2-upper crease, 8-along outer lash line). I am a person that rarely wears eyeliner, I will usually use eye shadow (normally 8 in the eye shadow pallet) with an angled brush. For my eyebrows, I used L’Oreal Paris Brow Stylist Definer in dark brunette, to fill in my eyebrows. As for my foundation, and blush, I use L’Oreal Paris True Match.
