If you know me, been around me, seen my tweets, you know I am a huge Bachelor Nation fan.
While getting to know contestants, following them on social media, I came across a non profit organization, SheLift.
Their Story:
“SheLift was founded by Sarah Herron and a group of friends who shared the beliefs that we’re not defined by our bodies, and that all girls deserve to love themselves wholeheartedly. Sarah and her friends also shared a common enthusiasm for the outdoor adventures – specifically in the mountains – and felt passionately about sharing the transformative powers of adventure with others. Sarah and her friends want to show young women that whether it’s on the slopes, on a trail or on a show… finding love is possible, and it starts with yourself.”
SheLift is an organization that wants to empower girls to overcome obstacles that they face, help them with their self-esteem through “outdoor adventures and mentorship.” For information about SheLift, check out their website, here.
A way to support SheLift is to buy different apparel. Shirts (unisex, fitted, etc.), tanks, sweatshirts, coffee mugs, and totes are available, here. All of the apparel states, “MAYBE YOU LITERALLY CAN EVEN.” Their current campaign goes until Monday, November 14th. I purchased a black BELLA+CANVAS Women’s Slouchy Tee with white lettering. Click on the shirt color and lettering you’d like, you’ll be able to pick the fit of shirt you’d like! If you follow past contestants on the show, I’m sure you’ll come across them sharing their support for SheLift. Once this campaign ends on Monday, there will probably be a message on their support page stating when their next campaign will start and/or an option to leave an email address to be notified.
Why I embraced this non profit organization is their message to girls. I am a strong independent woman, and want to support programs to help other girls to grow and broaden their horizons.
