April is in full steam here in the Midwest. Rain, snow, mix of both…oh, April!
Well it was pretty cold today, so I chose to wear some layers. To begin with, I chose to wear an over sized, brown, knit sweater. I love the color of this sweater. When I bought this sweater from Amazon, it was not a part of Amazon Prime, but it is now! Similar sweaters can be found here, and here.
Under my over sized sweater, I chose a navy gingham boyfriend button up from Old Navy. Navy and cognac, or camel, is a great color combination, which is the reason why I chose to pair this particular button up with my sweater. I like the fact that the button up is also somewhat over sized, due to a boyfriend cut blouse, because it flows well with the over sized sweater. I paired navy fleece leggings from Glik’s with my tunic, to keep me extra warm. These leggings are AMAZING, and are a steal. These leggings can also be found in fur – either way, they’ll keep you warm. These are out of stock, but similar leggings can be found here, and here.

For my jewelry, I chose a chunky white statement necklace I bought from Target four years ago. I’ve gotten so much use out of this necklace, which is always great when buying accessories. Similar necklaces can be found here, and here.
One new accessory I just got in the mail a few weeks ago, is this pair of clear eyeglasses. I used EyeBuyDirect to order two pair of frames with my eyeglasses prescription. I wore one of my favorite lipsticks, NYX’s liquid suede cream lipstick in soft-spoken.
Lastly, one basic item that every person should have in their closet is a trench coat. I purchased my trench coat from Younkers last Spring. My Michael Kors trench coat has a detachable hood, which I love, and comes in handy when it is rainy, yet not cold enough for a parka! Similar trench coats can be found here, and here.
