I had a family Christmas party today, and recently bought a green velvet dress from SheIn. Since this purchase, I wanted to recreate a photo from Christmas 2000 when I also wore a green velvet dress.
MONDAYDecember 3rd
Today, I started my look with a oversized, ruffle, cowl neck, sweater from Express in Wild Ginger. I love the color of this sweater, which initially made me want to buy it (the ruffles also had something to do with it). Similar sweaters can be found here, and here.
I wore a pair of high waisted black jeans from H&M with my tee tucked in. These black jeans are $14.99, just like my favorite regular jeans. Great price, and great quality.
For my shoes, I wore a pair of black loafers from Target. Similar loafers can be found here, and here.
I chose my black, chain, crossbody from Old Navy. This purse can also be turned into a clutch, since the chain strap is removable. Similar purses can be found here, and here.
I also have worn this sweater as an off-the-shoulder sweater, as seen above.
For my jewelry, I chose another fall tone with a pair of large Nickel & Suede earrings in bronze beauty. This color is no longer available, but other Nickel & Suede earrings can be found here.
For my lipstick, I chose a new lipstick from trèStiQue, which has a matte lipstick, and shiny balm in Florence Fig & Rose Balm. I chose to just use the matte lipstick, Florence Fig.
TUESDAYDecember 4th
To start off my look, I wore a new cream colored, bishop sleeve, sweater from Target. This is one of Target’s new brand, A New Day. Similar sweaters can be found here, and here.
With my sweater, I wore a floral skirt from JustFab. I have a matching top with this skirt, but that is the beauty of two pieces. Similar skirts can be found here, and here.
For my shoes, I chose a pair of navy booties from JustFab. I swear I have accumulated an assortment of booties from JustFab, each and every one is a keeper. For similar booties, check here, and here.

My earrings are a pair of yellow gold leather earrings from Nickel & Suede.

WEDNESDAYDecember 5th
To start I wore a very comfortable ribbed black sweater I recently purchased from Target. It is quite long, so wears like a tunic, which is perfect for leggings. Similar sweaters can be found here, and here.
I tucked in my sweater into this new wool, fit and flare, skirt from Banana Republic Factory Store. I love this gray color. Similar skirts can be found here, and here.

I wore a pair of lace up booties I recently purchased from Younkers. These booties are super cute! They fit great, and are very comfortable. Similar shoes can be found here, and here.
For my purse, I chose a black crossbody purse that I purchased from Marshall’s a few months ago. This has been a great purse, it is the perfect size, and black goes with [almost] anything! Similar purses can be found here, and here.
I wore a pair of large Nickel and Suede earrings, Smokey Quartz, to match my wool skirt.

THURSDAYDecember 7th
Snow is here in Michigan. While I wore a pair of backless loafers from Target with my outfit, I wore a pair of winter boots out and about. Similar backless loafers can be found here, and here.
For my outfit, I wore a green turtleneck that I bought last winter on clearance from Target. Similar sweaters can be found here, and here.
I paired my tunic and coat with a pair of faux leather leggings. I purchased these leggings from Nordstrom, after quite a search. I initially saw these particular leggings on Ali Luvs. They were super affordable, and I loved seeing someone else where them. I made sure to read the reviews and sizing, since you never know the fit with faux leather. They came and fit extremely well. I didn’t want to pay an arm and a leg for faux leather leggings, but also wanted them to look good. Similar leggings can be found here, and here.

FRIDAYDecember 8th

I decided to wear my pair of clear eyeglasses, Hepburn. I used EyeBuyDirect to order two pair of frames with my eyeglasses prescription. I’m totally into the “trend” of clear eyeglasses, and found EyeBuyDirect as a cool, and affordable way to have multiple pair of eyeglasses! I wore a pair of large Nickel and Suede earrings in Vintage Tweed Leather. To start mixing my neutrals, I chose this new pair.
For my lipstick, I chose a new lipstick from trèStiQue, which has a matte lipstick, and shiny balm in Chile Red & Sangiovese Balm. I chose to just use the matte lipstick, Chile Red.
