Everyday Outfits April 7, 2018

4.7.18

It is officially Spring, but it does not feel that way here in Michigan. To give me hope for the future warm weather, I chose light colors and transitional pieces to wear this week.

MONDAYApril 2nd

To start, I chose a blush blazer from H&M. I bought this blush pink blazer on clearance from H&M for $10 last year. I love blazer outfits, and this blazer is very light weight, so it’ll be perfect for the summer or winter or anywhere in between! Similar blazers can be found here, and here.

Underneath my blazer, I wore a white, flowy tunic from Amazon.com. This top is super soft, and comfortable! I highly recommend this shirt (I have it in black, also).

The pants that I chose to wear today, came in my past Stitch Fix order. For more information on Stitch Fix, check out my past blog post, here. These leggings, from Stitch Fix order, are from Lyssé. What makes these leggings extraordinary, is the zipper detail on both sides of the leggings. Similar leggings from Lyssé can be found here. Other similar leggings can be found, here, and here.

I wore a pair of nude loafers that I got from DSW. Similar loafers can be found here, and here.

With my outfit, I used a beige, almost blush pink, clutch from Amazon.com. It is quite big which will be able to hold a lot of items, and a chain for a crossbody.

For my jewelry, I decided to wear a pair of large Nickel and Suede earrings in Ballet Slipper Pink. Unfortunately, these particular earrings are not available at the moment. Check out all the leather earrings here. These earrings are so light weight, and are great for any occasion.

For my lipstick, I chose a new lipstick from trèStiQue, which has a matte lipstick, and shiny balm in Florence Fig & Rose Balm. I chose to just use the matte lipstick, Florence Fig.

TUESDAYApril 3rd

I received this cardigan in my last Stitch Fix order, (look at a previous blog about Stitch Fix here). This sweater is super warm, and comfortable. Similar sweaters can be found here, and here.

Underneath my cardigan, I wore a white and black striped, short sleeve, dress is from Target. I bought this dress a few years back, and I am happy that I have been able to wear this dress and create multiple looks. Similar dresses can be found here, and here.

I chose to wear a pair of black tights, from Target. For tips on making tights comfortable, check out my past blog post, “Bring On The Tights Tips,” here.

I wore a new pair of black booties I recently purchased from Younkers. I love the cut out details on these ankle booties, but still keep my feet warm in the cold weather. Similar booties can be found here, and here.

I wore my Leopard Leather earrings in large from Nickel and Suede. These earrings are shown each and every week in my blog posts because they are a great accessory (no matter what print or color). These earrings are still available, but will certainly sell out fast (and it was a long while from the last time they were made available).

For my lipstick, I chose a new lipstick from trèStiQue, which has a matte lipstick, and shiny balm in Barcelona Bright Berry & Cava Balm. I chose to just use the matte lipstick, Barcelona Bright Berry.

WEDNESDAYApril 4th

When I initially bought this white, eyelet dress from Old Navy, I bought it online, never tried it on, etc. When I first tried it on, I liked it, wasn’t in love with the dress. I’ve worn the dress a few times since buying it, and I have gotten a ton of compliments. It is super comfortable, and I have gotten to a point where I really like the dress. I’ve paired it with a jean jacket the times that I have worn the dress. As much as I love my prints and patterns, there is also something nice about simplicity. Whether that is white, or black [I usually wear a lot of black], there is something refreshing about a simple outfit. Similar white dresses can be found here and here.

Over my dress, I wore a beige/pink sweater I purchased from H&M. This sweater is a little over sized which is perfect. I wore it backwards because I wanted a round neck instead of a v neck look. I tied the bottom corner of my sweater to make it less baggy. Similar sweaters can be found here, and here.

My booties are from JustFab (more info about JustFab in this past blog post). These neutral, beige, booties completed this outfit, and can be worn with multiple outfits, which is always a benefit. Similar booties can be found here, and here.

I wore a new pair of Nickel and Suede earrings with my outfit today. These are the large Ivory Knit Leather earrings.

In addition, I chose a long gold layered necklace from Charming Charlie’s. It is simple, but still brings a statement to my outfit. Similar necklaces can be found here.

Lastly, the only piece of jewelry I wore today is my new custom necklace. “Love & Prayers,” was written on every card my grandparents ever wrote to me. Now the girls in their family (daughters and granddaughters) have this saying in a form of jewelry. “Love &” is in my grandma’s handwriting, and “Prayers” is my grandpa’s. I used the shop Bestyle on Etsy.

For my lipstick, I chose a new lipstick from trèStiQue, which has a matte lipstick, and shiny balm in Florence Fig & Rose Balm. I chose to just use the matte lipstick, Florence Fig.

THURSDAYApril 5th

To start off my look today, I chose a pink sweatshirt from Target’s brand Who What Wear. I bought this sweatshirt last fall. I love the mutton sleeves. I love the color. It is a super cute sweater. Similar sweatshirts can be found here, and here.

With my blazer, I went with a pair of white jeans from Old Navy. These particular jeans are Old Navy’s Rockstar Stay White jeans [which if you know me, I need]. Similar white skinny’s can be found here, and here.

I wore a pair of nude loafers that I got from DSW. Similar loafers can be found here, and here.

With my outfit, I wore a pair of large Nickel & Suede earrings in white cork! I recently bought these and have been loving them!

For my lipstick, I chose a new lipstick from trèStiQue, which has a matte lipstick, and shiny balm in Florence Fig & Rose Balm. I chose to just use the matte lipstick, Florence Fig.

FRIDAYApril 6th

To start my look, I wore a pair of cropped, high-rise, wide leg jeans I recently bought from Target’s new brand Universal Thread. I love clothing from different era’s, and this screams 70’s! I mean my mom did tell me she wore something like this in the 70’s. Similar jeans can be found here, and here.

Today, I chose to wear rusty pink sweater from H&M. It can be paired with a dress overall, pants, skirts, so many options! Similar tops can be found here, and here.

With the outfit, I wore a pair of white canvas sneakers. I went with the sneakers for a comfort and casual look. Similar sneakers can be found here, and here.
