Everyday Outfits February 1, 2020

2.1.20

MONDAY January 27th

So I’m not going to lie, I use to think of monochromatic looks and think of my grandma’s. Well I am all about monochromatic, and I definitely don’t think I’m wearing a “grandma” outfit.

I wore a maroon cold shoulder turtleneck sweater I bought from JustFab two years ago. I wore this sweater for Christmas two years ago and my Grandma O asked, “Aren’t your shoulders cold?” I replied that it was called a cold shoulder sweater and she laughed so hard. A great memory! Similar sweaters can be found here, and here.

With my sweater, I wore a maroon, ribbed knit, pencil skirt from Forever 21. There is a slit on this skirt, which I kept towards the side. Similar skirts can be found here, and here.

I wore a pair of sand colored booties, also from JustFab. Similar booties can be found here, and here.

One last item is this envelope clutch/crossbody in rose pink from Amazon. This clutch has so much room and comes in MANY colors.

I wore a pair of large knife edge hoop earrings from Target.

Layered necklaces are all the rage right now and have been for over a year (I mean my grandma always wore layered necklaces at least ever since I was born). I love the pendant layered necklaces, and when I came across these Target Chain Link with Coin Charms Layered Necklace I couldn’t pass them up.

For my clean lipstick, I am wearing Beautycounter’s Color Intense Lipstick in Backstage, a perfect beige pink nude.

TUESDAY January 28th

I chose a floral swing dress, with a keyhole. I found this dress on Amazon. I made sure to read the reviews on the dress, as I usually do while I online shop, to make sure I would buy the right size.

I paired my tunic with a pair of faux leather leggings. I purchased these leggings from Nordstrom, after quite a search. I initially saw these particular leggings on Ali Luvs. They were super affordable, and I loved seeing someone else where them. I made sure to read the reviews and sizing, since you never know the fit with faux leather. They came and fit extremely well. I didn’t want to pay an arm and a leg for faux leather leggings, but also wanted them to look good. Similar leggings can be found here, and here.

I’ve finally got around to wearing these Blondo Presto Waterproof Knee High Boots. No need to spray for rain or snow, salt proof. Thanks Jess Keys for the recommendation. They’re amazing.

For my purse, I chose a black crossbody purse that I purchased from Marshall’s a few years ago. This has been a great purse, it is the perfect size, and black goes with [almost] anything! Similar purses can be found here, and here.

I wore a pair of these large Nickel & Suede Vanilla Shimmer Leather earrings, and they are a perfect neutral addition to my collection.

For my clean lipstick, I am wearing Beautycounter’s Color Intense Lipstick in Backstage, a perfect beige pink nude.

WEDNESDAY January 29th

I received this cardigan in my last Stitch Fix order, (look at a previous blog about Stitch Fix here). This sweater is super warm, and comfortable. Similar sweaters can be found here, and here.

I wore a short sleeve, flowy, white shirt, that I purchased from Amazon.com. This top is super comfortable, and I felt made a great addition to my outfit. Similar tunics can be found here, and here.

I wore a pair of $9.99 high waisted black jeans from H&M that are my favorite pair of jeans ever!

I wore a pair of leopard booties from Younkers from a few years ago. Similar booties can be found here, and here.

For my purse, I chose a black crossbody purse that I purchased from Marshall’s a few years ago. This has been a great purse, it is the perfect size, and black goes with [almost] anything! Similar purses can be found here, and here.

I wore a newer pair of Nickel and Suede earrings, Brown Demi Statement Leather Earrings with Hammered Gold Post, they aren’t always available, so snag them while you can.

THURSDAY January 30th

To start, I wore a pair of white high waist, wide leg, palazzo or culotte pants. I bought these from Amazon.com through Prime. I did hem them because to me they were full on pants, and I wanted a cropped wide leg pants.

I tucked in a Halogen detachable sleeve striped sweater from Nordstrom. Similar sweaters can be found here.

For my shoes, I chose a pair of navy booties from JustFab. I swear I have accumulated an assortment of booties from JustFab, each and every one is a keeper. For similar booties, check here, and here.

I used my maroon tote from JustFab. Similar totes can be found here, and here.

I wore a pair of large Nickel and Suede earrings in Merlot. Similar earrings.

For my clean lipstick, I am wearing Beautycounter’s Color Intense Lipstick in Backstage, a perfect beige pink nude.

FRIDAY January 31st

I got this blanket scarf/poncho as a Christmas gift a few years ago. It is from Old Navy. I love neutral colors, and I will be able to wear this often this chilly season. Similar scarves or ponchos can be found here, and here.

I wore a long sleeve mock neck bodysuit from boohoo. Similar bodysuits can be found here, and here.

I front tucked my sweater in my button-fly rockstar jeans from Old Navy. Similar jeans can be found here, and here.

I wore a pair of leather and suede booties from Toms. They are beyond comfortable. And worth the splurge! Similar booties can be found here and here.

For my purse, I chose a black crossbody purse that I purchased from Marshall’s a few years ago. This has been a great purse, it is the perfect size, and black goes with [almost] anything! Similar purses can be found here, and here.

I wore a pair of large Nickel and Suede leather earrings in Starry Night, that were available a few years ago. A similar earring can be found here.

Jess
