Thursday, Oct 6th (work day – below):
At work today, I chose a simple business casual look. Black pencil skirt, pinstripe blouse, and black pumps. My pencil skirt is from H&M. I still cannot get over the price of the skirt, it is only $12.99, you cannot beat that price, and it is a super comfortable skirt!
The striped blouse, which can be worn around the neck, or off the shoulders, is from Younkers. Similar blouses can be found here, and here.
As for my accessories, I kept them to a minimum. I wore my black pumps from Target, and paired my earrings from Premier Designs. Similar earrings can be found here, and here.
Thursday, Oct 6th (night out – above):
After work, later in the evening, I went line dancing with a few friends. I decided to bring out my cowboy boots from Target for the occasion.
I wore an off the shoulder, floral, peasant dress from Forever 21. I bought this dress 2 summers ago. This dress can be worn for multiple occasions. I’ve worn the dress out to the club, with a cute pair of sandals, I’ve worn the dress to the beach, out and about, etc. It is super cute, and versatile. I did not wear a belt today with my outfit, but a belt can easily be added to give the dress a different vibe. Similar dresses can be found here, here, and here.
Friday, Oct 7th (work day – to the left)
For casual Friday, I decided to mix patterns. A big component to mixing patterns, is to have one similar color in common.
I wore a burgundy, and white striped boyfriend tee from Old Navy, with a floral scarf (with burgundy within) from H&M. Similar scarves can be found here, and here.
Today, I wore my H&M skinny jeans. Best deal out there, and I feel they have a good quality, and I love this dark color.
I wore a pair of cognac brown booties that I recently purchased from JustFab (check out this past blog post for further details on JustFab). Similar booties can be found here, and here.
For all three looks, I wore NYX’s Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in soft-spoken.
