São Paulo

Hello São Paulo. If only I was actually going to Brazil! This week I decided to wear the same lipstick all week long with different outfits. I love NYX’s Soft Matte Lip Cream, and decided to wear this plummy pink lipstick and liner. All the colors are different cities. This lipstick is extremely light, soft, and wears well.

SUNDAYAugust 1

I had my mom’s surprise birthday party, today. I bought this off the shoulder maxi dress in the last week, and knew it was the perfect occasion to wear it! I forgot to get a full picture of the dress, but the picture above is off the website. I bought the dress on Amazon, so I had it in 2 days! I love Prime! Similar dresses can be found here, and here.

With my dress, I chose a pair of black block heel sandals from Amazon, as well. I love these block heels. They are reasonably priced, and for the most part comfortable (I wouldn’t walk a 5k in them, if you know what I mean).

For my jewelry, I chose a pair of gold drop earrings from Target. I loved the shape of these earrings, and are super affordable!

MONDAYAugust 14

I am absolutely IN LOVE with the outfit! I started my work week out with a killer outfit! I bought this skirt from Target on Sunday when I was working on my alibi for my mom’s surprise party. This denim skirt is from one of Target’s new brand’s A New Day. The line has not launched yet, online, but I will certainly be wearing this skirt many times in the future! Similar skirts can be found here, and here.

For my top, I chose a white ruffle sleeve top to go with my new skirt. I also recently purchased this top. I bought this top from SheIn. I cannot wait to get more looks out of this top, as well! When I buy items on SheIn, I read reviews for sizing. Sizing can be wrong, so I will often size up if I am unsure. Similar tops can be found here, and here.

For my shoes, I tied in the denim skirt, and white blouse with a pair of striped flats from Target. I bought these shoes a few years ago on clearance. Similar shoes can be found here, and here.

I tied together my color scheme with a beaded navy necklace with a gold accent. I bought this necklace from Charming Charlie’s multiple years ago. Similar necklaces can be found here, and here.

TUESDAYAugust 15

I went with a pair of white jeans from Old Navy. These particular jeans are Old Navy’s Rockstar Stay White jeans (which if you know me, I need). Similar white skinny’s can be found here, and here.

With my pants, I wore a striped, short sleeve, top. This particular top is actually from a pajama set from Target. Obviously this top has able to be used for more than just sleeping. To give my shirt a bit of a different dynamic, I wore my striped shirt backwards. This gave my top a high neckline in the front, and a lower back. Similar striped tops can be found here, and here.

I am itching for fall, so since I sit in air conditioning at work, I chose to wear a teal, oversized cardigan from Stitch Fix to go with my outfit. I received this cardigan in a past Stitch Fix order, (look at a previous blog about Stitch Fix). This sweater is super warm, and comfortable. Similar sweaters can be found here, and here.

To give my outfit a bit of flare, I chose to wear a pair of leopard print flats from Target. These particular flats are SUPER old, but similar flats can be found here, and here.

To go along with my flats, I broke out an old pair of leopard drop earrings. I do not even know where I purchased them, they are that old. Similar earrings can be found here, and here.

WEDNESDAYAugust 16

I decided to wear my camo jacket I purchased from JustFab a few months back (more info about JustFab in this past blog post). Years ago I wanted a camo jacket, but never actually came around to purchasing one till I came across this one while looking at my monthly boutique. I loved the look of the jacket, structure, and color. Similar jackets can be found here, and here.

With my camo jacket, I mixed patterns with a white and black striped, short sleeve, dress is from Target. I bought this dress a few years back, and I am happy that I have been able to wear this dress and create multiple looks. Similar dresses can be found here, and here.

With my outfit, I chose a pair of black block heel sandals from Amazon, as well. I love these block heels. They are reasonably priced, and for the most part comfortable (I wouldn’t walk a 5k in them, if you know what I mean).

For my purse, I chose my black, chain, crossbody from Old Navy. This purse can also be turned into a clutch, since the chain strap is removable. Similar purses can be found here, and here.

I wore a pair of black drop earrings I bought on clearance from Charming Charlie’s over a year ago. Similar earrings can be found here, and here.

THURSDAYAugust 17

Today, for my outfit, I chose a dress I normally wear during summertime, but could be worn when it’s colder with more layers. This daisy print, sleeveless, belted shirt dress is from Amazon.com. Similar dresses can be found here, and here.

For my shoes, I chose a pair of nude flats from Target to go with my outfit. Similar nude flats can be found here, and here.

For my purse, I chose my black, chain, crossbody from Old Navy. This purse can also be turned into a clutch, since the chain strap is removable. Similar purses can be found here, and here.

For my jewelry, I chose a neutral earring. Nickel and Suede’s Lip Gloss.

FRIDAYAugust 18

I wore a blue and white vertical striped tank from Old Navy that I bought last year. Similar blouses can be found here, and here.

I tucked in my tank into a pair of Rockstar jeggings from Old Navy. Rockstar jeans are amazing, and the jeggings are perfect if you want some extra stretch!

For my shoes, I went with a pair of white sandals from Target. These sandals are sold through Target every year. I’ve had this pair for over four years now, but these are still out there to purchase! There is also many colors!

For my jewelry, I chose a pair of gold drop earrings from Target. I loved the shape of these earrings, and are super affordable!

xoxo,

Jess
