I started with a sleeveless chambray, peplum, top from Old Navy, I purchased last summer. With this 90 degree weather, I wanted to get a use out of the top before I wear all my sweaters. Similar tops can be found here, and here.
With my top, I chose to wear a pair Old Navy’s Mid-Rise Rockstar Skinny Jeans in “Leaf Me Alone.” Similar pants can be found here, and here.
To match my pants, I wore green sandals I purchased from Aerie in high school (so yes, a long time ago). Similar sandals can be found here, and here.
With this outfit, and to tie in my color scheme for the week, I chose a statement necklace, from Target, wit some blush hues. Similar statement necklaces can be found here, and here.
Today, I chose to wear my other new pair of glasses from EyeBuyDirect. These glasses, Escape, are a fabulous matte pink that I instantly fell in love with. I love the color, and feel that it perfectly matches my favorite lipstick. I wore one of my favorite lipsticks, NYX’s liquid suede cream lipstick in soft-spoken. I bought this sleeveless wrap dress a few months ago on Amazon.com, and I was finally able to wear it! This dress does come together at the waist, but it is open other than that. I had my mother, who is an expert sewer, put a button on the top of the dress so it could be work appropriate. I also wore a black slip under the dress because it IS see through!
I chose to pair black strappy sandals, from Target, with my dress and jacket. Similar sandals can be found here, and here.
I kept my jewelry subtle and simple. I wore Nickel and Suede’s Antique Brass Gem Leather Earrings.
I chose a new lip stain I received in my FabFitFun box. This Manna Kadar nude pink lip color, in Lucky, is perfect, and I was thrilled to have it in my Summer FabFitFun box! For info on FabFitFun, look here.

The cold weather finally hit today, so I broke out a new cardigan I got a few weeks ago from SheIn. I was looking for a chic yellow cardigan, that was simple, but not plain. Similar cardigans can be found here, and here.
Underneath my cardigan, I chose a black and white striped boyfriend tee from Old Navy. Similar tees can be found here, and here.
I wore a pair of high waisted black jeans from H&M with my tee tucked in. These black jeans are $14.99, just like my favorite regular jeans. Great price, and great quality.
For my shoes, I chose a new pair of backless loafers from Target. A few coworkers had a pair, and I recently ran across an article of how they these backless loafers are the perfect transition piece from Summer to Fall, and boy am I ready for Fall! Similar loafers can be found here, and here.
For an accent color I chose my favorite, maroon! First off, I used my maroon handbag from JustFab. Similar handbags can be found here, and here. I also wore NYX’s Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in vintage.
Lastly, I chose a pair of gold drop earrings from Target. I loved the shape of these earrings, and are super affordable!
THURSDAYSeptember 28
Comfort, oh how I love a comfortable outfit. Especially a comfortable outfit that you could wear even after getting home from work!
Today, I chose this cute, and comfortable tunic, which was on clearance. This tunic was in the maternity section. NO JOKE! When I was looking at Target’s clearance section last winter, this maternity item was mixed in with the regular clothes. I loved the rosy color, and had to try it on. I had noticed it was a maternity tunic, but it looked like it was supposed to be roomy anyways. Well I didn’t mind the loose fit, and purchased it. Similar tunic/dresses can be found here, and here.
I wore faux leather leggings from Nordstrom Rack. I initially saw these particular leggings on Ali Luvs. They were super affordable, and I loved seeing someone else where them. I made sure to read the reviews and sizing, since you never know the fit with faux leather. They came and fit extremely well.
I chose black blocked heel sandals, with an ankle strap, that I purchased off Amazon.com, to match my outfit. They are comfortable, within reason [don’t go for a 5 mile walk], and super affordable! Also free shipping if you have Amazon Prime.
For my purse, I chose my black, chain, crossbody from Old Navy. This purse can also be turned into a clutch, since the chain strap is removable. Similar purses can be found here, and here.

Hello Friday! I chose a ruffled light sweater from Target’s new brand A New Day. I tried this sweater on a few times before buying it, but finally gave in! I got so many compliments on it today, so it was obviously worth the purchase. Similar sweaters can be found here, and here.
With my ruffled sweater, I wore my $9.99 H&M jeans. I have written many times about these fabulous jeans I have on! They are comfortable, and have a great color to them!

For my purse, I chose a black crossbody purse that I purchased from Marshall’s a few months ago. This has been a great purse, it is the perfect size, and black goes with [almost] anything! Similar purses can be found here, and here.
I wore a pair of oversized pearls I got from a multipack from Target.
Pearls also go go great with a red lip, so I chose a new lipstick from my Fall FabFitFun box. This dual crayon, from trèStiQue, has a matte lipstick, and shiny balm in Tuscan Wine & Syrah Balm. For info on FabFitFun, look here.
