Everyday Outfits April 27, 2019

4.27.19

So my life just got less busy. I am officially done with grad school and my internship, which just means work about three days a week right now! I often wear sweats on my days off, and have no make up on so my weekly blog posts may look more bare! Hopefully I can brainstorm and add a variety of posts with all this free time (well, I’m looking for a masters level job, so that might take priority). And Europe is coming up in a week, so lots of fun stuff coming for that!

TUESDAY April 23rd

I wore a pair of white Rockstar jeans from Old Navy to start. Similar white jeans can be found here, and here.

I wore a tan ruched sleeve blazer from boohoo. Similar blazers can be found here, and here.

Underneath my blazer, I wore Madewell’s Northside Vintage White Tee. I have been looking a good tee to bring to Europe for a capsule wardrobe and decided on this tee. So soft and comfy! Obviously had to test them out prior to Europe. I have been wearing them in outfits and plan tees are great for packing on a carry on because they can be layered for multiple looks.

With my outfit I wore a new pair of tan and white mules I bought from Target. I love neutrals, so I knew I would get a lot of wear out of these! Also slip on’s are just GREAT! Similar mules can be found here, and here.

One last item is this envelope clutch/crossbody in rose pink from Amazon. This clutch has so much room and comes in MANY colors.

I also wore these large Nickel & Suede White Cork Leather Earrings.

For my clean lipstick, I am wearing Beautycounter’s Color Intense Lipstick in Backstage, a perfect beige pink nude.

WEDNESDAY April 24th

When I initially bought this white, eyelet dress from Old Navy, I bought it online, never tried it on, etc. When I first tried it on, I liked it, wasn’t in love with the dress. I’ve worn the dress a few times since buying it, and I have gotten a ton of compliments. It is super comfortable, and I have gotten to a point where I really like the dress. I’ve paired it with a jean jacket the times that I have worn the dress. As much as I love my prints and patterns, there is also something nice about simplicity. Whether that is white, or black [I usually wear a lot of black], there is something refreshing about a simple outfit. Similar white dresses can be found here and here.

I bought this batwing sleeve sweater from Marshall’s this past winter. It is so comfortable, and perfect for a lazy day of working in my bed! I tied the bottom corner of my sweater to make it less baggy. Similar sweaters can be found here, and here.

With the outfit, I wore a pair of white canvas sneakers. I went with the sneakers for a comfort and casual look. Similar sneakers can be found here, and here.

To match my sweater I used a crossbody handbag from Target. Similar crossbody’s can be found here, and here.

I am wearing Nickel & Suede’s medium Lip Gloss Leather earrings. These are unfortunately not being sold at this time, but their other earrings can be found here.

I wore Beautycounter’s Color Intense Lipstick in Boardwalk. Unfortunately it is not sold separately at this time. It was in a holiday duo collection, that is STILL AVAILABLE! I kept going back and forth on if I wanted to purchase them, but really love BOTH colors in the duo! Beautycounter’s other Color Intense Lipstick can be found here.

xoxo,

Jess
